Detailed Course Information

Taught by three nationally recognized experts and educators in Wound Care, the Wound Certification Prep Course is an intensive 17-hour seminar, providing a comprehensive review of topics related to wound management. The course also includes valuable practice tests and test-taking strategies.  In every aspect, this course was designed to assist in preparing health care professionals for the wound certification board examinations.

 Course Times

Sign-in: Friday : 2:00-3:00pm

NOTE:  Georgia PTs & PTAs are required to arrive at 2:00pm to take a course pretest as mandated by the Georgia Physical Therapy Association.

Course Begins: Friday: 3:00 - 7:30pm
Saturday: Continental Breakfast and Sign-in 7:00am
Course: 7:30am - 5:30pm

Continuing Education Credit

Physical Therapy: This activity has been approved for 17 contact hours (1.7 CEUs) by the Texas Physical Therapy Association and the Georgia Physical Therapy Association, and 20.7 CEHs from the Florida Physical Therapy Association.  Other states requiring physical therapy continuing education will be done on an individual basis by participants with their CEU approval entity.

Nursing:  Nursing contact hours have been applied for through the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
